Thought I was over this

Kind of a ballancing act here recently with school starting. I'm trying to be encouraging and cooperative while maintaining my space. She actually has been rather helpfull getting all the school stuff going. In fact she paid for all the school supplies and clothing. Think she is feeling guilty for not paying any child support for the past 8 months.

She is in such a nasty selfish place right now and she is taking it out on the kidos through verbal abuse. I have raised the concern about "our" behavor and controlling "our" anger and she seems to be getting better. I have to be very careful because one of my big faults was being very critical of her dealings with the kidos. She is very insecure in that area - some of that is my fault. At this point I'm trying to encourage the positives and ignore the negatives (to a point). It is interesting to see her working on some of her issues for a change. That didn't really start happening until I got out of the way.

Next week will get a little more structured and back to our normal schedule.
