Stacy.....

You aren't less than! Would I be right guessing that your H made you feel that way? (I think I need to go back and read your story.)

OK, on the job thing.... really, either one would understand if you took the other. It happens. Your old boss would certainly understand that you want to stay where you are. And the new place could understand you wanting to work where you had been previously.

They both want you, that's a good thing! See, you are not less than!

Passionate about what they do is one thing.

Passionate about who they are is another thing.

I'd like to do the most good - but my true passion is pre-school.

So, everyone wins, and everyone loses.

Holy Cow - sound like life to me.

Save your passion for what really counts.

I wish there were more people like you... what you do is so hard, and so important. I do understand that it hurts you to know that you can't help them all. And that you feel like you've got obligations to both groups. And that it is impossible to do both. But surely that isn't a fault in you?

I think it comes back to where you think you can do the most good in the long run. And I know you can do a lot of good.

It all counts!

If your passion is pre-school, that's where you are going to do the most good. At least that's what it feels like from here.

You should be passionate about who you are, too.... but that might take time. What we all are going through tears us down. We are all sure that somehow it was a failure in us. And I am sure we can all think of things we could have done differently. But that does not mean we failed. OK, easy words. One reason I haven't gotten the paperwork going is that is symbolizes "failure". OK, I said it.

I'm a glass half full guy. I think we can all win! Or at least go down trying!

I was thinking you needed a big hug!

I'll send you a message on FB to get a number... though it's a bit late to use it tonight!

Where I can do the most good is a struggle. This EC group coming in -- needy.

The K group I had -- needy.

Except, I stay in my program, have something to say. If I go to K, I'm just the "special ed" teacher -- NO input, NO passion.

It makes me tired, to be so alone. But I'll be all super-duper-marco-polo tomorrow.

You aren't all alone.

I think you know the answer to your question. I do believe this. I may not know special ed. I may be an engineer who hasn't been a people expert. But.... to do what you do, in the conditions that you have to do it, you have to follow the passion.

And you still are not alone.

((((Jeff)))),

It's tempting to switch to K.

But my heart is in pre-school. The lowest of the low.

And I'll be the first to say -- Holy Cow -- you're an idiot!!

In the end, you are who you are, and you love who you love.

As much as I love my former studnets, these little ones coming in -- need me.

OK - I'll deal w/Arch Nemesis -- not because she'll ever get it, but someone else might.

I will battle bad fashion, challenged students, I am SO bright and shiny - - you will never know. Still sad, but working on it for Heaven's Sake -- and in the end fine. No worries.

Holy Cow!!

To quote me.

Not a good night --- sad and bad, sorta mad.

It'll pass - always does.

Wow - I'm brave.
