I can't believe you were willing to help w/the house, and she didn't let you?? Wow -- people are weird. Now I will say there are certain things I want done a certain way - especially my personal laundry. But for the most part - sheesh. You're trying pretty hard to find something to complain about, if you're nit-picking about housework.
Well, making headway on the box count. Had a little rant on MB's thread - so I'm not repeating that on this one!
Did you end up having to rent a car?
I've decided I need a little vacation before school starts. But probably no time to squeeze one in.
Maybe a spa day instead.
Hmmmm - so many, many, decisions.
My new boss doesn't want me to put the changing table in one of the girls bathroom. She told me to figure out a way to have it in my classroom. When I told her that changing diapers in the classroom is NOT best practice, she said tough. So, back over to central office to see if I could get some help with her.
Ofcourse, had to run into X.
But changing table will NOT be in my classroom - another victory!!
When I told her that you don't humiliate a child by taking his pants off and changing him in front of his friends, in his classroom she said: "Those kids are so low, they don't even know what's going on."
I felt like I'd been punched in the stomach:( I simply told her that it's a matter of showing everyone respect and dignity, whatever their level of understanding.
And then I left.
I don't say this lightly, but I think I might hate her. I might start carrying around a digital voice recorder. A principal getting caught saying stuff like that would be in HOT WATER.
Okay, this is a job related rant, but a different one than the one on MB's thread.
