I like your comment about staying out of the pit. I think I tripped into it the other night, but luckily regained my footing fairly quickly. I said "F*ck" about 200 times, and felt better. Isn't that nice?
How are your kids doing??? Do they follow an academic calendar like ours? I remember when we were in London two summers ago (July), the local kids all had varying schedules if you asked them. BTW, I was especially fond of the pubs! It was our first time overseas. We went to Paris, too. H and I took D18 to see Moulin Rouge, and she fell in love w/champagne. Fell off the curb on the way back to the hotel (laughed so hard I almost pee'd! that's what she gets for being such a pain to her MOM!), came barreling into the hotel room, waking brothers, and my parents. Two glasses were enough!
Fun trip. We went to see our extended family in Sweden for a week afterwards. God! They look and act just like me! One of them even works in my industry. H laughed every time he met someone new, calling them my twins!
