Well, we live in Broomfield, CO so my h and I actually had a 90 minute session with Michele in Boulder, CO back in June. My hubby said on Sunday we need to go back and see Michele again...I'll wait and see if he decides to make that happen.
He's very deep into an affair with the VP of his company. He talks of ending it, but actions speak louder than words and I haven't seen any actions indicating it to be over...

Can someone help me with the divorce stuff? What happens and when? We both have attorneys and I think the first step is an initial conference? I would like to tell the judge we are going to try and reconcile. My h has said he would like to try to do that. How long do we have before we have to decide if we are going to divorce or not?

Golfgirl1- We're in the same state ... and I'm a few weeks ahead of you in this process. I'm sorry. This whole business just stinks. Once the other party has been served, the next step is the initial conference. You'll get something in the mail saying when it is. Mine was set about a month from when I got served ... which for me just happens to be tomorrow. I don't know how it works with lawyers involved, but for us it is a chance to exchange paperwork and decide what happens next. If nothing is contested, the 90-day waiting period starts the day the other person was served, after which the judge makes the D official. If it is contested, the timeline gets pushed out. I would assume that at anytime you can put the D on hold.
The 90 day thing ... I know. 90-days is the uncontested version, which unfortunately, mine is. I would think with the lawyers involved, it would drag things out. The courts won't process the divorce unless all the appropriate paperwork is filed. I would discuss your strategy with your lawyer.
