Totally understand about the psyche piece. No worries. I'm slowly catching up. I just feel your pain - been there, done that -- except with OW involved. Would never go back.
Stronger suggested a screen name with the word "dish" in it -- reference to Gable and Garbo and an attractive woman being a "dish".
I understand about your D, my oldest was similar. But she'll be starting her second year at UWM and she loves it. She's going to teach the deaf PreK-Grade 3 -- yeah, we're all about the special ed.
And I went in to set up my room -- new school, classroom moved, check class list, look at cums (cumulative record folders). So I've got a little girl on the Austism spectrum (severe) -- and epilepsy -- tonic-clonic seizures -- and there is no telephone in my room. Cell phone gets no reception. So I mention to the principal that maybe since I have a seizing three year old, I might need a phone. And she says: "Send someone to the office, we'll call 911." Like when a child is seizing time is NOT of the essence. And who the he!! am I sending to the office. Jimmy with Down's Syndrome, or Felicia who is shaken baby syndrome and in a wheelchair - cognitively 3 months old -- will never improve, in Foster Care cause both parents are in prison for turning her into a human vegetable.
Sorry to hijack and rant about work - but WTH!!! I lost a student last year and I can't take losing another one this year. Especially because of ignorant administrators who haven't even stepped foot in front of a class for 15 - 30 years.
Okay -- done.
If the blind date doesn't work out -- WE need to go out!!!
Glad to hear some D's start to get it sometime!!! UWM! Niiiiice! We visited there, and LaCross w/D18. First question at the open house out of her mouth was.... "Excuse me, where's Greek Row?" GOD! Head tilt!
Whoa on the room!!! You are truly special for being able to handle the tenderness needed for Special Ed kids. I can't handle my barely aging MOM! (I'm an only child! Get me the outtahere!)
I have a message into Soccer Coach! I left it at his house. I'll txt him in the am if he doesn't answer. He's a funny txt'er, quick, witty, and complimentary. Makes my day! You'd just love him! The IceBreakers would probably (upon going with on your date) suggest dropping things on the floor so we can see him pick them up! (DONE THAT!)
I'm in for a girls night, if this doesn't work, soooon! I'll have to get D18 coverage for the boys. Soccer training EVERY weeknight, between the two of them. And, H is only really home on the weekends, so I try to make girls nights during the week.
Where could we meet? Williams Bay? Fontana? Is that about half way each?

After many years w/my head in the sand... I FILED Divorced 6/2011
The average woman would rather have beauty than brains, because the average man can see better than he can think.
Gotta tell you - after the day today, heavy into the white wine.
So please excuse any spelling errors.
I KNOW you understand.
And I have to tell you -- there is THE most FABULOUS Versace handbag in the new issue of Harper's Bazaar and I can't find it anywhere. Neiman's - NO, Sak's - NO, Bendel- No. Any idea's??
And, instead of throwing stuff on the floor for him to pick up; I was actually thinking that I'd bring a book for his D5. Something all "Fancy Nancy" or "Chicka Chicka Boom Boom".
