I thought about not going. W assumed we were all going, so as I posted before, when we are together as a family she is usually pretty good. And as a matter of fact, while we were there, she came to me to tell me it was catered by one of my favorite restaurants and made sure she took the boys while I ate. She even got dessert for me. Plus, I always liked the guy and w's friend, so I thought it would be nice to see them. It wasn't terribly uncomfortable. Besides, we went straight from there to the carnival at w's work and we had a good time there, I thoroughly enjoyed going on kiddie rides with the boys.
