No, you are wrong. I understand how a lot of people are looking for OM's everywhere. Here is the skinny: The niece has posted on her myface page about the concert and how she is looking forward to going. I don't know if I was clear about the myface thing, but it was the niece who posted first on W's wall that she wanted to go to the show as she is a country fan, and she knows W is. Not many of us country fans up here, which might also explain why niece's new bf isn't going. W posted back that it sounded good and she would go. Now, unless W called up niece and asked her to post a request for w to go to a concert with her so she could really go to concert with an OM, I say she is being truthful. Why W bought tickets, I don't know exactly, but it could be 2 reasons, maybe niece doesn't have credit card, or I do know W has ticketmaster account as she has bought tons of tickets through them before. My concern for even posting this is her MLC behavior.

Again, W knows I don't even look at that sight anymore. I only happened on it because of an email sent to me saying that a friend requested something where I had to go to my page to see. Thats where I saw the interaction between W and her niece. W has asked in the past why I don't update my page anymore, and I told her I am basically done with it.

I wouldn't close the door on the possibility of OM, but if she's anything like my W she could just be really all about herself and wishing that she was 19 again. A night out with kid, acting like a kid herself is probably pretty appealing.
I think there's a hint of MLC in every WAW. If you start thinking that there's OM it will make it harder to go into your interactions with her "acting as if."
Maybe a night out with a "have fun" from the hubby is just what she needs.

I almost wish there was an OM, it would make this clearer for me. She is definately in some sort of MLC, I see it when at family parties, she hangs out with her nieces and their friends. She is all about herself right now, even leaving the kids with me so she can go party with FEMALE co-workers (again confirmed by me because they call to arrange nights out when I answer the phone)(Unless of course W has a huge network of people covering for her rendevous with OM). She has a hard time with stress in general, and her going out is to forget the causes of stress and get away from it. And remember I did get an email out of the blue from the only person I thought could be an OM telling me he is trying to get her to reconcile with me. Her number of text messages has drastically decreased, and she is home more often now than before.

realize, there are alot of stages they go through. enjoy the non-stop joy ride they dont call it a runaway train for nothing.
