I came home and did not talk about the Alton Brown tickets. Helped make dinner, then helped S with homework.
W acting normally. Later, I mentioned very matter of factly, I think the Alton Brown thing is actually a taping for the 10th anniversary of his show. W, "Oh."
So, we put the kids down and set in to watch a britcom DVD W ordered from Blockbuster. I mention before first episode starts that I will take care of the sitter for AB, and that it is a 2:00 taping. W, "OK, well a, b and c are my first choices."
W is not excited, but I really didn't expect her to be. I think she will enjoy it.
Anyway, I'm acting like nothing's amiss, b/c it isn't. So, I guess I'm not acting. W playing it cool too. Who's gonna blink first...
