he opens doors for me...when we go out to eat he pulls out my chair for me etc. When we do go out be it our to dinner or a "date" to home depot he most always reaches for my hand as we are walking there.

never denied that there are some pretty great qualities that h does posses...trouble is the fact that the extra good stuff isn't consistant therefore that "soft inside" feeling doesn't stick around for long...more of a "why the heck can't you be like this more often" feeling.

when h does "try" to go the extra like he has this week (ie. playing cards, suggesting renting a movie, cudling on the couch, doing the dishes etc.) I am left to wonder "why now" "how long will it last this time".

going out tonight with some of my friends..h is welcome to join but I think he's opting out #1 he didn't find a sitter #2 I think he likes to just stay home. we are going to take the kids apple picking this afternoon when he gets in from work and maybe get lost in the corn maize wich seems to be becoming an anual event for us (though I am sad to say that we started it while h was involved with ow before I knew about her) and then tommorow he's going to the pat's game. hopefully the two nights apart will not break the good cycle but I'll keep a positive attitude either way.

LL,
I haven't been on the bb as much as I used to be, and I've lost track of many of my old friends, including YOU.

I do hope that you will pop in on some of us from time to time. We need your wisdom, support, and sense of humor. I learned so much from you over this past year, and don't know what I would have done if you had not been there during some of my darkest hours.

I know I didn't save my M, but I certainly saved me. Thank you for being there.

Hoping that you find the happiness that you are looking for within your H and M.

so yesterday h got home from work around 1 and we all took off to get some lunch and hope that the rain would cease so we could go through the corn maze. We actually made it through the maze without cheating!!! don't know how we did it (if any of you have ever gone through a corn maze you can appreciate our success), it was fun to think back over the past couple of years going there...the first year with dd in a front pack (she was 2months) last year dd in the backpack carrier and this year dd walking some and some riding on my and h's shoulders.

I went out afterward to meet up with my friends at a resteraunt. When I got back to my car for the ride back to one of their houses there was a message on my cell from h.
"just sharing a thought" about the game and the message nicely ended with an ILY!

H has gone to the football game today it's a 1pm game so he shouldn't be home too late but I wont expect him til a bit after the kiddos are in bed.

ok didn't want to leave son out of the corn maze memories...he was 2 when we first went through it and was concerned that we were lost. last year he just kept repeating "we are never going to get out of here" and this year I think he understood a bit more of what we were trying to accomplish walking through all the corn but did still say "man we are never getting out of here we are lost" (he's 4!) and wanting to follow the other people who were in the maze but there were cutting through the corn instead of following the maze . h and I talked about getting a fall photo album and taking a pic each year of us after we get through the maze (infront of the sign) with either thumbs up or thumbs down noting whether we made it through or not. start a family tradition (well despite the crapola of the past few years this was the third year in a row that we did it).

go pat's !
go sox !

h is "keeping the ball rolling" and did I mention the fact that while I was out sat night h left a message on my cell phone and ended it with ILY ?

ok so sunday h went to the football game...left early and arived home shortly after 8pm (earlier than I expected) called on his way up to the stadium and called again shortly after the game ended (probably on his way back to the parking lot cause it was very noisy) to say hello. when h got home son was in bed but still awake so he came down to see daddy...h put him back up in bed and stayed there for a while..I figured he'd just fall asleep there but nope about a 1/2 hr later he came down fixed the fire I had attempted to make in the fp and said "hey were are the cards let's play"

I've discovered that I can im h's cell phone...he can't reply to it though but he can read it..

at first I felt like a dork doing it but after one of our or rather my pitiful r talks h said "what happend to the woman who sent me messages on my phone?" so that let me know that he liked it so I try to do it once a week...much safer for me than calling to say hi cause I never know what he may be in the middle of..this way I can say my hello or pass a message to him and he can call back when he's got a minute...even cooler when it's almost imediately and he continues to chat.

today I im'd him that he had an email from a customer and then followed up with one just from me saying "btw, you're pretty cool" I forgot that I had sent it (kinda just put it out of my head so that I wouldn't feel bad if I didn't hear from him) but when he called a few min later he said..good morning...I said good morning..he said you're pretty cool too...I said huh? oh yeah duh! anyway it's just a neat little thing to have.

toodles.
