typically most states have a residency law before you can file a D.(usually 6 months) as far as your kids I will tell you this from experience act now or forever live in regret. How long have you lived there ? where do your kids go to school ?.my advice become extremely diligent and don't ass(u)me things will be fine.cause when the fhit hits the san it is going to cost you big time.and if her Mommy and Daddy are footin the bill you lose.I know I am in the same sitch as far outlaws(inlaws) go. If your residency is in Alaska file for Emergency Temporary Custody.she has relocated without consent, refuses communication and I would guess alienation.be truthful and don't go over the edge.research custody laws in your state.as far as kidnapping that won't fly you both have equal access to the children right now(which you are being neglected of). As far as law enforcement the will see this as a civil matter unless there are court orders.this I will tell you and it going to hurt but reality bites.Do not view her as a friend don't confide and cover your A$$.educate yourself since you are male you are guilty by association.custody laws tend to lean towards the mother( Sorry ladies I don't mean to offend) although that is slowly changing with the advent of SAHD's. As far as lawyer's go they are a blood sucking necessary evil.(if there are any on this BB sorry you already know this).and the cost can get ugly quick.so do as much leg work as you can.
On a lighter note my heart goes out I have 5 kids and know the torment to well.as you can tell I suffer from ADD (another disgruntled Dad).arm yourself with knowledge fire back calmly and accurately and always stay ahead of the curve.
The information in this post is just that.I am not a blood sucking lawyer or present myself as one.Always seek legal help
Good Luck God Bless
