Every spring we have families of baby quail in the yard. The little ones are about the size of fluffy little golf balls, and just follow their parents around!
I lurve baby quail. They look like fat little question marks!

Oh I can't stand this heat. I'm sweating so much, lifting a finger feels like a workout and I'm sticking to absolutely everything. Its nice and cool out but for some reason, its not making its way into my room despite all the windows being open. ARGH. Its making me feel really dizzy and faint. I never liked the heat. Always been a cold weather gal.
Because I'm feeling grumpy and uncomfortable over the heat, I'm missing X. Obsessing a little bit. So much so that I had to turn the computer off so I wouldn't check his FB and MS or read his emails to me over and over again. So I watched TV for a bit but it only made me think about him more and I found a way to relate everything I watched to him. Sigh. GET OUTTA MY HEAD!!
Its cloudy out, I don't know if I'm going to get to see this meteor shower Going to lay down on my bed and gaze out the window anyway. Hope everyone gets to enjoy the show!!

Factor in 28 feet of snowfall last winter -- heck!! - this is heaven on earth!!
OMG Stacy!!! I shivered just thinking about that!!!! Of course, I'm one of those crazy Packer fans and my dream is to one day get to see the Packers play at Lambeau in a snow game! Pretty nuts for a SoCal transplant to GA. It got to 8 degrees here one time about 6 years ago and the entire state shut down. One snowflake and they close everything.
Beeps - You sound so fantastic! There are up and down days but your down times are getting shorter. Can you tell? Isn't it nice to know that you are pulling out of this?
