Hi OD. So when are you off to Ibiza? Sorry to hear your H is confusing. I am not familiar with your sitch, but I think confusion is quite normal & expected in our predicaments. I see you've been here quite a while, HUGS. My xh was a mess of contradictions. I was buckled onto the roller coaster so long. It's impossible to know why they put us thru this. Mine eventually came around at the 11/2 yr mark and was plagued with guilt & remorse. I had waited so long for this fantasy to happen, and was surprised that I no longer fancied the thought of working on our messy painful issues. I was done just as he was coming around. Life is strange sometimes. Aah..... most times actually. Tell us more about the other buses! What yoga practice do you do?

Michelle- I don't think my H knows whether he's coming or going. I think it's sad really, but at some point you have a draw a line under it don't you? I don't think he'll ever find the strength to have an open conversation with me. *sigh* worse for him than me though!
Rinse- I'm going a week on Friday for 10 days. Really looking forward to it. I do vinyasa-style yoga (dynamic, quantum or ashtanga). It's such hard work- I'm a bit worried about the holiday because I can hardly make it through doing a session two days in a row.... On the other hand, my bottom is much improved! Thanks for posting your backstory- I really appreciate hearing about it. I really have been here a long time.... the good thing is I'm doing a lot better than I was at the beginning, and I can see the possibilities for different things again now. There was a time when there seemed to be no possibilities at all other than the one of H coming home.
K and Handsome- if we're meeting I want to be there!
A quick update from me.... things are good. H came round last week but did and said nothing out of the ordinary. He seemed a bit uncomfortable to be in the flat, and in our area in general. As usual he was withdrawn. He didn't mention the D papers and neither did I.
I managed to successfully get date guy to leave me alone after an evening out last week. He made a cardinal mistake of being intimidated when I said I had a doctorate. Too weak.
CEO.... is CEO. I got invited to a dinner party at his house in a roundabout sort of way- his friend called me and invited me, saying CEO was too nervous to ask me himself. The dinner party itself was fun. I was sat between CEOs friend and a designer guy. CEOs friend was funny- he told me a few things CEO had said but I couldn't tell if it was just drunk-speak, or actually the truth (he was very drunk because later in the evening he kissed my foot). Among these things were that CEO thinks I'm 'wonderful', 'absolutely beautiful' and 'out of his league'. I guess I'm suspicious because I know me, and none of things are really true. And how can I be out of CEOs league? Ridiculous- he's CEO, the seducer of women.
So, things continue in maybe a bit more of a friendly way now with him. We were texting for 7 hours on Sunday, and yesterday he had an emotional reaction to something I said about asking women on dates. I guess things may be coming to a head- we'll see what happens over the next week or two. Either that or I'll crack, initiate an R talk and shout 'JUST ASK ME OUT, FOR GOODNESS SAKE!!'

OK, except for your thing with vegetables, I think we all agree you are wonderful. I have seen your picture, so that takes care of absolutely beautiful. As far as whether you are in his league, I guess that is a choice he can make. It's his perception. And I am really beginning to wonder if he is as smart as he thinks he is!
