I love this thread and happy to contribute to the tome we're writing. How about...

"I love you and care about you deeply, I just don't love our relationship." This was the classic line I heard instead of ILYBNILWY. Several days later, "I don't love you anymore." Several days after that, "I still care about you." On the day he moves out, "I love you but I have to leave."

The classic corollary to the above, "I want you to find someone who will love you."

"I hold you responsible for my happiness and you haven't made me happy."

"I want to do the best thing for all of us, so I have to leave."

"You are a wonderful person, a wonderful mother, but our marriage didn't make me a better person. It made me a worse person."

Oh, and how could I forget this one: "Things between us can never change because the past predicts the future." What???

Any of these sound familiar?
