When I read about the block party my first thought was to surprise her and change the retro weekend so she does not mis the fun. My gut is telling me that it would mean allot to her if you did that.
I think it would also show that you are lighting up about the R. and maybe it would take some pressure off.

The date is not changing. I am putting a lot of hope on this weekend that it starts us back on the road to R recovery. The sooner we are on that road the better. And if we end up on the other road, so be it. Better to get the mourning process started and done sooner than later.

Just finished cleaning up from family party here at the house. The day went fine, w and I worked together well. I made sure to both interact and minglewith everyone, as this was something she complained about me. I also made sure to clean up afterwards. She is downloading pictures fr the day onto the pc and then on to facebook. I am going to bed shortly, as I have drank a considerable amount of whisky, and I have to get up early for Mass tomorrow. By the way, w looked very food today and I complimented her. She said thanks.
