It's early days I guess, and you are settling into a new routine. I must say I think you sound really well adjusted, as do the kids. The fact they are just carrying on as normal is an excellent sign that you have done a good job in this transitional time. They're lucky to have a father like you. Quietness is a strange thing to get used to, I used to not be able to cope with it but now I wouldn't be without it.
Is the cat enjoying some one-to-one time? My cat has decided that moving her has ruined her life and she no longer speaks to me except to accept some Whiska's chicken and cheese treats. Although I got nudged awake at 4 this morning to apply a stroke and cuddle. Baby steps??
