I know you're right, T. And I know that I'm just disheartened that my expectations (which I should never have had in the first place) keep being trounced time and time again.
I don't HAVE to be cold, uncomfortable, standoffish "get the f*ck out of my life" at the lawyers office. I could just as easily go in that office and show her the positive Jimbo I've always shown her. But within 60 days of my signing that Separation Agreement, she will have to walk into that office to get her money anyway, because within 60 days is in the terms of the agreement, and I'm sure as hell not handing it over to her without her signing a receipt for it.
