My L emailed today and asked me to drive over to check out D9's school she'll prob. be going to in 3 weeks! I emailed her back not going to happen and gave her the details.
H called me re: several things. The reason the bank lady said to us both yesterday she was going to work with us, and her changing her mind is that she said they hadn't received payments from me in May, June, or July. That's logical. But since I did make them, I called my bank and they faxed over immediately front/back copies of the May June,and July checks.They said they normally take a couple days but she did it then. Everyone has been so nice about this except for the credit union of course! I'm hoping if that was the actual reason for not working with us, that she would reconsider since I have been making the payments.
H also told me he registered D9 for public school yesterday. (WEll, now I see why he's acting nice to me!) He is trying to set up a hearing re: that. I'm thinking about agreeing to it on a trial basis so she can start school on time and I'm willing to give it a try.
He also wants to register S15 for high school. S15 was in school for several years and it was horrible b/c of the autism and dyslexia combo. The school H is zoned for was not recommended for autistic kids by the autism person from the nearby autism center I've been talking to (she recommends another school but we're not zoned for that). I did agree I would call and see what kind of accomodations and special ed they have in the school, but I don't think I'm going to agree with that, so that will have to go to hearing probably.
I'm surprisingly ok with all this. I love my Prozac!!! Karen
