Talked to SIL this morning....Bit of a whirlwind conversation.

SIL: good morning!
Michelle: morning chica, how goes it?
SIL: It goes good :):)and yourself?
Michelle: pretty good. keeping busy at work. went on a great date with [RB] last night, i think i am still full lol
SIL: awesome!did he meet the parents yet?
Michelle: not yet. talked to my mom about setting something up
SIL: nice. I saw a comment a while ago about going to the parents for dinner and so i was wondering
Michelle: ah, that was just me. [RB] was in napa that day
SIL: I finally talked to [STBXH]. I think his birthday really shook him up and started to give him some perspective. He was telling me about how he is trying to turn things around and how he has been looking back at everything and how poor his choices have been and he actually said something to the effect of, "I failed at my marriage". I had never heard him take responsibility for it.
don't know why, but I wanted to tell you that
Michelle: wow. thanks.
SIL: also, just between you and me, he has started going to AA meetings
i was happy to hear that too
Michelle: oh wow! that is GREAT
SIL: so where did you and [RB] go for your date yesterday?
Michelle: aioli. it's a spanish restaurant. tapas
SIL: does [RB] also live in [X]?
Michelle: yeah, same part of town as me actually
SIL: that's awesome! saves gas
Michelle: lol yep yep
SIL: well, I had better get back to work. Hope you have a great day and I'll chat with you soon! Bye
