If she is truly working through her issues for real. She will see the person she is dating for what he truly is.

I choose to give him no power in this. He is merely a symptom of the problem. It's all on her to realize that, and what they have is nothing. This is for her to see, not for me to show.

If she can't see he is half the man I am, like I said before then I do not want someone like that anyway.

I feel liberated in a weird way when it comes to this.

Slow and steady, T. Take it right now at face value. She is friendly, just mirror it, no more, no less.

Dont let this throw you. Remember what you have learned, how you have grown. And always remember that He has you in his hands.

Hang in there, my friend.

Well,

I received two phone calls today, both were short and positive. The first call was right in the middle of nap time. She asked me how the concert was (which was very fun but absolutely insane). I asked how her trip was and she said it was fun, but she is really tired. She said she just arrived back in Detroit and was on her way home. "Yeah I guess I am calling right in the middle of nap time aren't I?" She said she would call back a little later.

She called a couple of hours later and spoke with my daughter. It was very brief. I got back on the phone and was upbeat and followed her lead on keeping it short.

She seems to always end the conversations now with, "well I don't want to keep you." I just say okay, I 'll talk to ya later.

I never did mention anything about the late night phone call. I still don't know if I should. I see both sides of this I guess. I don't want to seem rude by not mentioning it, but I also don't want anything negative to come of it if I do mention it.

So for now it's "who knows?"
