Hugs to you and thank you for sharing. Your selfless post struck me and must've been percolatin' in my head in the hour or so since I read it. It came out unexpectedly in my good night post a few minutes ago, so I thought I'd stop back over and say thank you.
I will check out your posts, though I am probably way behind. After 9+ hours in the car yesterday, I am in North Carolina visiting with my sister. The plan is to visit our SMW on the way back North.
Friday was spent at Ft Drum in NY. My friend's son re-deployed to Iraq yesterday. His truck was going to be picked up on Saturday by his Dad but he called his Mom in a panic that it had to go Friday. So, withing 10 minutes of her call I was showered and out the door to help them out.
It is important for these things to percolate. We have to be able to see beyond our own pain to really understand how we got here, how to make it better, and how to be whole after we go through this.
