Returning after 6 years

I met with my manager yesterday. These are some of the things she told me. Submitted without comment.

- It's tough to make it here without a supportive spouse.
- Work can be healing
- Work can see you through

OMG. I'm sorry, but that made me laugh. I guess work is the answer to all your problems if you're talking to your boss. "Work can be healing."

How about, "Nobody ever laid on their deathbed and wished they'd spent more time at the office."
