Just back from soccer training, and, a meeting. I was asked to be a part of this Parent's Advisory Committee for the soccer club. Interesting. There are 57 teams in the club, boys and girls (U9-U18), at "roughly" $2k a pop (~15 kids per roster), place ~40 players per year in D1 schools, and have a feeder rec league w/250 kids playing per season, AND THEY HAVE NO BUSINESS PLAN!
Amazing.
Guess who just got a new "job." I told them I'd do the outline and assign sections to be completed, in exchange for two boys fees for the year.
Diet is good today again! (Except for the two beers at the meeting...)
H was home from 2pm - 6pm. Little pink dress looked cute. They all loved the pulled pork sandwiches. H was a tad "snarky" (could tell it was due to lack of sleep), but it was fine. Snarky was responded to w/snarkier (180-time), which ended the original snarky. Interesting.
Oh, and S12 has "bruised heels." WTF? Almost in tears after training tonight. We're off to the podiatrist in the am. Club soccer season just started, and he's playing school football. We don't have time for this!

Off to get the hair done. Going to a new guy, who does the BFF's. I'm going to tell him to do whatever he wants. My hair's getting too long right now, and I'm starting to resemble an 80's rocker. NOT a good look!

OK, hair is done. And, it's DARKER, dirty blonde with only highlights of my prior bright blonde! The new hair dude claims it makes my blue eyes POP! LOL Ummm OK....
S9 says, "When are you going to look like my mom again? And, we better leave a note for Dad for when he comes home tomorrow night (he comes home during the night, usually when we're all asleep) so he knows it is you!" Hahah
Soccer again tonight (every night!). S9's new (assistant) coach (whistle!). ALL of the mom's will be staying during training now, showered, blow-dryed, and "dressed"! Hilarious... We were being creeps, trying to get a pic of him to send to the mom's that weren't there. Too funny. The kid is probably, all of 22?
Talked to H a few times tonight (he called), checking on S12's bruised heels, my hair, and checking on the weekend plans.
I'm back at the major BIG Pharma company tomorrow, doing another demo system install. Wonder how much I need to sell in my territory before I get my own regional service engineer? I have to be close! I sell for a living, not install software, make robots work, and move lab samples around! If they let me loose on too many of these, I'll for sure screw something up! Probably someone's anthrax vaccine, or something!

Its been a HUGE learning for me that all those girlie treats are so important for my sense of how valuable I am. You know, like the hair ad says-"cos you`re worth it"?

Wine kinda screws my DBing efforts while living with H but I`m off for a nice big long weekend raod trip with the kids today, staying with friends and family so I`ll break out then and when we`re clinking glasses I`ll be thinkin of ya!
