GIMA - re: you being confused. There's a long thread (Tips?) in the Piecing forum about surprising reactions once Piecing starts. Among those reactions are confusion, anger and resentment on the part of the LBS. Reading through that thread (I'm not all the way done yet) has been helpful to me in anticipating how H or I might react, behave, feel, etc.

Neither you nor I may be in Piecing yet, but it's a good read nonetheless.
