Made a HUGE mistake last night. I was feeling pretty down and lonely so I went out and shot a couple of games of pool alone while my wife and kids went to visit her parents. We all got home around the same time. My wife got undressed and went to bed in my daughter's room where she usually sleeps. I went into the room and laid on the bed next to her. I didn't say anything to her and didn't touch her, just laid there. She went nuts! She accused me of trying to start a fight. She then said that she doesn't want to talk to me and likes everything the way it is with us not talking or sleeping with each other. Then she insinuated that she wouldn't be putting up with this much longer implying that she would be leaving me?).

I tried to talk to her a little to calm her down but she wouldn't listen, she just got more upset. I appologized for getting her upset. She didn't care, she then left the room and went downstairs to watch TV. I went into my room and went to bed.

I know that I should not have done that and that I just validated her reasons in her mind. I took twenty steps backwards last night. Gotta get back on the horse and get going again. But it did teach me a lesson about pursuing. Just like the book says it doesn't work.
