Crazy like foxes.....LOL!

Clever.....Sly......Devious.....

They have been around the barnyard so many times they know exactly how to stalk and attack. They manipulate and charm.

It's funny how women like these are never alone. Hmmmmm!!!!!

I can look at OW here, I look with pure disgust. I feel sorry for her. She is pitiful to me. I can because in my mind, I am repeating: If you only knew, what I know.........

We all know that they will never find contentment and happiness.

Do you agree that offers us a sense of satisfaction?

Recently the OW and my H were together in a local bar and they ran into my best friend. The OW was quoted saying this:

"I am so glad I am not single, because in our mid-40's the single guys are all losers and all the good guys are married."

YUP, OMG, WTF.....This woman is so delusional. She is and has been with a married man for 4 years now. What planet is she from?

My friend had all she could do not to say and scream at her:
"D**** is married!!!!! WTF is wrong with you?"

So....What doesn't kill us makes us stronger.

Ladies, we are stonger for having lived this. I for one am grateful for the lessons learned. It has made me a better woman.

(((((HUGS)))))

Yes, It does!!

I actually brought up to my H last night that I saw the pic of the exOW and her New man....I just couldnt hold it in any longer....I really wanted to know what he thought about it. He wasnt too happy. He said that he and her dont talk anymore...by his choice (so he says). He has all kinds of people calling him and telling him "do you know who OW is with now?" He said he just tells people he dont wanna hear about it! We talked about it for a while....it bothers him, but Im not sure why he doesnt talk to her anymore. Not that i really care!!!! I told him that maybe now he understands why I went through a time of not wanting to talk to him for a while....

nope, he said that "this was different"

ok...so I guess it is very different! He just doesnt get it still to this day.

So, he asked about my weekend coming up! He said "you probably gonna go guy hunting!" I said "maybe"!!! He looked shocked that I said that! Funny.

I really wanted to say "does it really matter"

So why didn't you? What stops you from saying what is on your mind now?

Example? Recently XH made a comment to me in a roundabout sort of way regarding sex. Yeah, totally inappropriate, but it got my dander up. He told me I should 'go out and get some if I was feeling so lonely'. FWIW, I never told him I was lonely and I had only commented back to him that there were some things I was missing out on - nothing specific. My response? Something I never would have EVER said in a million years! 'My taste is apparently more discriminating than yours has become'.

Yeah, nasty of me huh? He just looked sheepishly at me and said he guessed I was making better choices than he had. HA!

You see, speaking your mind sometimes nets you some warm fuzzy feelings. smile

Gotcha! I do a lot of that too. I come up with the BEST comebacks long after the convo is over. grin

I did have a funny comeback for him the other day...i get tired of him asking me "why are you being so short?" in texts...cuz sometimes I will give him short answers.....I came back with this one "Im sorry I cant help it if Im short, both of my parents are that way! We cant all be tall like you!"

haha

Im quicker with good comebacks with texts...

Hi ladies,

I'm right with you both, I ALWAYS think of something better to say than what I did.

I like that one kissak, HA HA!!! VERY GOOD!!! Bet he couldn't top it!!!

I want to work on just this, I want to work on being more fun.

It's actually my next big project on "me". I want to be less edgy and guarded. I want to be free to loosen up a bit and take a risk. I want to try some new adventures.

I was on a website earlier, I would like to enroll son and I in a beginners kayaking class with LL Bean. I need to wait until I have a bit more money, I am going to put it on my to do list for sure. A friend told me about a yoga class for beginners, I want to try that too.

What do you all want to do to improve you?

It's all about self-improving and we have extra time on our hands I assume, I know I do....

You know SAnderika...thats a good idea...I need to find something that me and my kids can do together....we could have done tkd together, but Im not really into that either and since my son will be ending that soon, there is no point.

Im think Im gonna look into that...although there isnt much to do like that around here....but I will sure look!

Looking forward to going away for the weekend!! My friend had a funny idea about somthing to do for her boyfriend...she was gonna set her alarm for 4 am on her cell phone to send him a text saying good night on Saturday morning!!! Just for fun! I wonder what my H would do if I did that! haha....im sure we wont be up that late...were not that young anymore! lol

Extra time? HA! My life is busier than ever! Of course, I work two jobs now and play taxi for EVERYTHING so I'm stretched a little thin.

Ah....thin...there's my #1 goal for myself. Lose 100 pounds. 30 of that I've gained since the bomb due to stress eating.

Another goal? I want to learn Tai Chi. I'm fascinated by it. A friend of mine is actually a Tai Chi master and she teaches classes. They just happen to be on a night I can't go. Maybe if I can rearrange my schedule I'll get to do that.

So Kissak, what do you want to do?

Sanderika, what kind of water do you plan to kayak on? If it will only be quiet lakes and streams/rivers -- no surf or whitewater -- you may not need a class. This is especially true if you get sit-on-top kayaks, which are self-bailing. If you should get dumped (I never have), you just turn it over and climb back on.
