She finally passed urine at 5:45. Got it to the doctor at 6:30. She just called about 15 minutes ago. Very concerned about large amount of ketones in the urine?

SO we are off to Children's Hospital to get checked out and rehydrated. Wish Sydney luck!

Thanks so much Sara. I appreciate all the prayers and well-wishes.

We went to Children's Hospital. They did a finger-stick blood draw. Gave her a pedialyte solution to drink while we waited for the results. She took a tiny sip and declared that it tasted yucky and made her mouth hurt smirk

They came back and said she was not yet dehydrated enough for IV fluids. So they discharged us. The nurse offered her a drink before we left, she chose OJ but then once again rejected it after a miniscule sip. On the way home I drove through starbucks for reinforcements for me, and got her a glass of ice water. She asked for it but did not end up drinking any of it.

So, still no desire for anything to drink. The discharge nurse said if she has not urinated again by noon tomorrow, or if she hasn't wanted to eat or drink by then, to bring her back.

Glad she is testing well. Scary though. Will she eat jello? gatorade? I assume you've tried all her favorites. How is the fever doing? Probably go up again at night, they always seem to. Good thing you don't have work.

Any new news on Sydney BBJ? Did you have to take her back to the hospital? Poor baby. I'm praying for her.

I will be doing that here soon. Yes they sure do! I will be seeking the solace and comfort that prayer time brings. A really down day today for moi. Nuf about that though my sponsor fam needs reunited and lasting peace. I have it printed out and ready to offer up again and again. He is the one and only comforter. Restoration prayers are on the way.

is my sponsor family getting healthier at all?

time to put it to prayer. Even though it is your unfortunate predicament to have to be going through so many trials ..I receive it as an oportunity for me to be locked into praying for you.

And on a day like today, if I didn't have the commitment of my given word and the fact that I have adopted all you R'bergs (think I kinda got that right)I would slither off to bed without praying.

Time to do my part in the spiritual war.

God is indeed great!!

You got it, T...

All is well so far with Sydney. She developed a minor rash yesterday, they said to bring her back in. The doctor said it is part of the virus she had, after the fever broke she developed the rash. But she is eating and drinking again, not much but it is a start. She is urinating every 8-10 hours which isn't great but better than before...

Thanks for the well wishes. Doc said I may develop the same thing in the next 3-5 days depending on the incubation period. Hope not!!
