One of the instruments I was demo'ing had the software installed on my laptop, and I wanted to leave it, so they could run it for a week or so on their own. So, I installed it on their desktop there. It took me three hours, due to internal security issues w/new installs, but I did it! AND, by God, IT WORKED! The instrument performed beautifully! The way I see it, if they use it for a week, and see how much time it saves them... they won't want to give it back!
The other two appointments went well, too. The first one was with a really nice guy, that was an odd conversationalist though. It's like he was trying to compete for "airtime." I did a lot of smiling, and chuckling.
Feels good to be out and about. I bet I'd sell a ton, if I could spend more time in front of these people. Can't do too much of it though, with a 12 and 9 year-old at home! D18 is pitching in with some of their "activity" driving this week, so that's good. I need to do more of this. I feel more confident, AND if I sell, I make more CASH! And, that's always good!
