It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!

Puppy,

If you have time, Orich on Newcomers could use some advice regarding being a passive male in his M. I told him to look at your posts -- if you get a minute, I think you could help him.

Guys, I may be largely away for a little while, and not much help to anyone when I AM here. Got some huge stuff going on at home with my daughter that requires my attention.

Thanks, Kett. My D20 is pregnant. She just told me and her mom last nite, after knowing for two weeks and being terrified to tell us, the poor thing.

She was at her sister's house, afraid to face us. She most likely has no health insurance, since her poor grades led to academic probation whereby she couldn't continue to carry a full classload, and "full-time student" is a requirement of my insurance company. She's not married to the father, he has no job (other than buying and selling things on eBay), and he lives with his mother. He has two other children from two different women.

As we hurriedly got dressed to drive the 20 minutes to D22's townhome, I said to my wife "How is she going to pay for this? etc, etc., and "What are we going to do?"

"Right now," she said, "We're going to go be with our daughter, we're going to hug her, and tell her that we love her, and that it will be okay. Everything else can be figured out later."

Gotta love the fetching Mrs. Choc./Puppy.

And that's exactly what we did.

More later,

Puppy
