yes I have fished a few times...but I will not bait my own hook...I will take the fish off, though
Okay, The reason that I ask you this is.....
When you fish, and you actually set the hook on a fish, the first thing you do is let some drag out on the reel....they will take all the room you give them ....
Liken that to what I said about taking more rope than you expected....
That fish has a lot of pride to NOT come in on that hook....Although they don't know that is what it is....
