Just been to my local to meet our go-between friend and her other half and tell them about the mess
Go-between gets text message from "friend" (note "'s are back) saying "I see you are at the pub with H (my bike was parked outside) - please don't tell him about W having a job"
She text's back "I haven't". Which is true - she didn't tell me - her better half did. He's still adamant he's going to have a word with W about this sitch. Can't really stop him. Last time a third party did get through to my W like I never could. He didn't take any prisoners!
What the heck is this all about? Why the request to keep quiet? Why didn't "friend" drop in? Why cruise past the pub? Who gives a stuff?
My curiosity gland has perked up.
BTW - I was told by my brother-in-law that "friend" is tapped out. Cards up to the max etc.
I'm under the impression that the idea behind my W wanting to test the monetarily anal retentive H is still a valid point. I'm still expecting the text message saying "meet me to discuss" anytime soon before the 28th (pay day).
I'm going to discuss the finances as if I know nothing about the job.
BTW - I've learned not to say anything unless it's to the benefit of the M. What to say, when to say it and to who.

Feel like texting W about meeting at the pet shop to choose a replacement for poor ol' fin.
