Had D1 today. Was about 4 minutes late to MIL's house. Was offered coffee/cinnamon rolls. They made small talk, and W seemed extremely clingy and such of D1. It took me 14 minutes to get out of there. I told W:
"I think your lawyer is just dragging crap out. You need to figure out what you want for custody, tell her, and then we can work together. We need to work together instead of fighting like this. I'm willing to work with you - but not if you keep filing stupid crap."
She seemed angry, but I told her "Your lawyer works for you, not the other way around."
After that unpleasantness, I took D1 to the mall. I didn't do the stroller today, just walked along holding her hand while she explored. We ate some chicken and fries, and then went to visit a friend of mine at the game store. She took a couple of pictures for me.
Then we went to an antique store, visited some folks there. An old lady who sells items there picked up a bucket of toys for D1 to play with. D1 started saying "bye" and putting her hand up to her mouth and smacking a kiss to everyone who left.
After this I drove around to let her catch a nap. She slept for about an hour and a half. Then I pulled up at my house about 5 minutes before W and MIL arrived.
They walked inside and hung around for 12-13 minutes acting as if I should say something to them. I just made small talk and avoided the legal subject.
I wanted to... but ultimately it would just be twisted into something else. I.e. "threat" or whatever.
D1 said "bye da" and blew me a kiss.
"You can't reason someone out of a position they didn't reason themselves into."
