She does kind of sound like your H, Kat. My theory is you look at the parents and the kids tend to be a lot like them. Eerily so sometimes. I would just feel a bit sorry for her. I'm guessing she's not a very happy person. Living life out of fear isn't a good way to do it (and I say that b/c that's how I used to be.) And now your grandma's throw will be totally appreciated.
