That old saying about feeling lonely in a room full of people is what you are experiencing. There are probably others there who think everyone appears to be single. It's not much fun being at a party by yourself, is it? Do the best that you can and remember that you are becoming a more attractive person and will be more "interesting" when all is said and done. But.....(have to throw this in for safe measure).....be leary of those wild women who would love to take you home with them.
It is not about what you feel should work in your M. It is about doing the work that gets the right results. Do what works!
I wish there were such women for no other reason than to experience that feeling of a woman actually wanting me. Wouldn't do anything of course. I love my iPhone. It feels like I bringing a support group with me wherever I go!

I do the same with my blackberry storm. I post from time to time from my phone like you from where ever I am.
Try to enjoy the evening. Get some good conversation going with some people. I understand what you are saying about another woman feeling like you are attractive. Its a good confidence booster. But in the end, the only one you really want to feel attraction for you is your W. So try not to think about if another woman feels it for you because if you noticed that someone did, in your state of mind and loneliness it could turn into a temptation that you would regret even though you say you wouldn't do anything.
Just enjoy the company and the fact that you aren't sitting at home alone. Take in the evening for all it is worth. You will have plenty of time to actually be alone later. Make the most of your moment now.
