Good IC session today. Mostly just confirmation I am on the right track - which I knew b/c of you guys.
Talked a lot about DB (C is one who turned me on to the book). I explained the feeling I get that W and I are stuck in a rut and do not seem to be making progress. I told him Coach had even brought up in one of his posts to me that Coach bet I thought I was stuck (I had not mentioned that in my post). Coach was very perceptive b/c I did feel stuck. C agreed with Coach's statement that I was not stuck and that W was watching me whether I realized it or not. Maybe I should just hire Coach.
Anyway, C was surprised W has taken no action to move forward with the D, given the things she said initially (WAS script stuff). I brought C up to speed on two opportunities where W had the perfect situation to jump off onto a discussion that nothing had changed and she wanted D - moving the real estate listing documents (I haven't signed) where I would see them on July 4th weekend and last weekend when I (at Coach's and Puppy's perfect suggestions) told W she needed to find a hiding place for her "The Good Divorce" book so S9 would not see it (kids don't know). As I discussed these two instances with C, I told him these were two perfect opportunities for W to say to he!! with it, let's get D. And she didn't. Could be good signs.
C said I should keep doing what I'm doing. Still too early to push W too much. He agreed with taking a stand on issues that were important to me (thanks again Coach), but still tread lightly. He agreed W is watching.
Wow, for the first time, W just IM'd me to tell me when she left the office and that she had a bad day (she's been having a lot of those of late). Funny how some roles have reversed.
Got home from C session and went for a run in this oppresively humid and hot weather we have in big southeastern city. Good run - LOUD music on my iPod and established a good pace. Going to make pizza and watch a movie with W and D tonight - our Friday night tradition.
Looking forward to picking up S9 at camp on Sunday.

Ironic how our WASs seem to be having more 'bad' days than good ones, isn't it?
Glad to hear the IC session went well. Hope pizza/movie night goes just as well.

We watched the new Hannah Montana thing on Disney. D5 was in heaven.
Ok, this is a bit picky, but since the D bomb, W often calls me by my first name - never before the bomb.not very personable. Just a reminder where we are. Oh, well, its better than some other names I can think of.
