Responding late to Thinker: "How to improve your marriage without talking about it" by Stonsy/Love (man and woman writers). Amongst the very many books/articles etc I read the last 2 years this one was by far the best (together with PM) when you do have a partner and are in a relationship. In most of our cases, (since we are in situations where we are separated) it provides many answers to the persisting question "why" that we all have stuck in our heads and makes clear -it did for me at least- the responsibility we both had for the fall out and how it origins a long time before the actual bomb.
*Mindblank, it is worth reading-I think it would help* K
PS All the knowledge broken down (together with PM), gives me no excuse to fail with my next marriage
Yeah, SP, I hear you on #6. It doesn't work as well in print, somehow.
However, to hear him articulate and claim respect for his masculine autonomy, considering his upbringing and former self-doubt, warmed every last corner of my heart. The Wolf actually makes sense in context of a relationship/personality description system based on zoo animals that a former poster on the SSM board came up with and which has become a sort of personal shorthand. Useful, but a whole 'nother can of worms. See, you can never escape the animal kindgom!

Neither to be honest, but I'm opting for voice. Lets me be on speaker while pacing and squeezing the bejayzus out of that squeezy-stress-squeezer-thing I got at the office supply store.
If your not ready - why discuss it. Is everythingn on MRS SP timetable !!!!!! BUGGER THAT
Where is your mojo ?
Whats her hurry ?
You got anywhere you need to be SP wih divorce papaers in your hand?
I am guessing not... let her wait, she is only 1/4 of this divorce and it does not make her boss
(BTW, @Smiley's Person's family have been known to frequent a certain brickyard which isn't far from their home.)
oh, really? a certain brickyard with which I'm familiar is rather far from most coastal cities. I'm a bit confused. not trying to blow your mojo-licious cover, but any way to clarify? y'all on FB?
M60 H52 D20 M14 yrs OW-old gf from 1986 bomb-5/18/08 H filed for D-9/10/08 D final 4/24/09 xH remarried (not OW) 2012
@hoosiermama: Brickyards are far from coasts, but then Smiley's People are mobile. After all, a certain Brazilian came all the way from...well, Brazil...to tread upon those bricks.

Actually it's on John Law's timetable. I have 4 days left to "respond" -- that is, file my counter-petition -- with the court. If I fail to do that, the Sheriff will be after me (theoretically -- she'd have to call the Sheriff, but you get the point).
Meanwhile, WAW has filed a notification with the court that she is now represented by counsel, and counsel has already laid some paperwork upon me; as a result, and at the time of this writing, I have only 29 days left with which to get my own counsel before HER counsel goes to the court to suspend all the arrangements we've so far made. And the 30 days from the time she retained counsel (yesterday) run calendar, not business, week. And it being the end of Friday, Days 28 and 27 will expire before the earliest appointment I can have with a mouthpiece of my own.
One more thing: you keep your mouth shut. I get the lay of the land, I tell you what to say. No talking out of school. What's out of school? Everything's out of school. I do the talking; you keep your trap shut. I'm an attorney, you're a barber; you don't know anything. Understood?

And with that I will ask the mods to lock this thread. The next item on the agenda will almost certainly want breathing room.
