Sounds like my H's plan...he just asked me again why my parents aren't "helping" to basically finance his leaving his family. Yikes on that one SP.

Well I've dropped back into Anger mode. Not sure why, exactly, but it's pretty evident. She's pestering me with e-mails and instead of ignoring them all I've chosen to be fairly snotty in a couple replies. Lashing out, really. Bugger. Doing my Cool Hand Luke thing, taunting the bosses just because I can, just because I'm a natchal-born sonovab*tch.

You run one time, you got yourself a set of chains. You run twice you got yourself two sets. You ain't gonna need no third set, 'cause you gonna get your mind right.

Get me a set of chains, sit down and do some reading -- sweating small stuff and dancing connections and holding onto nuts and the like -- and see if I can get back in the "darkly" groove.

See if I can't get my mind right.

SP,

You were off your bike for too long...

There really is a rhythm to these story lines, isn't there?

I can't figure out tonight if I should be pissed (if so, at whom?) or just resign myself to the fact that the WAS is so much better at this DBing thing than the LBS is that the LBS can't win for losing...

Exception to the rule... The word hamster... wink

But, feeling the way I do right now, I would have taken some depraved glee from the homonymic faux pas with mon-ster and Mom-ster... grin

Well, she won that round.

We were texting about something, and I was shaking the bushes over here boss, and she went and did it.

She made me laugh. And suddenly I was me again, and she was her, and just plain dammitall - it was....almost....nice to know her again.

Oddest thing is that she said the same thing about something I said, now forgotten, in the midst of one of these electronic p*ssing contests a couple weeks ago. "You can still make me laugh even in the middle of all this," she wrote. "That has to mean something."

Perhaps. Perhaps. Or perhaps it means nothing. What does it mean when, in the midst of anger and resentment and guilt and sadness and
fear and worry and loneliness and and and - what does it mean indeed when you a catch a glimpse, as if out of the corner of your eye, of that spectral presence, of the Ghost of Marriages past? What does it mean - what might it mean - what can it mean? What should it mean? Or not mean? What should we guard against when it Feels Like Old Times, when we are transported - as if through a glass and darkly - to a place that exists now only in our memory? If, indeed, it ever existed at all?

Heavy questions for a hot - dare I say "sultry" - summer's night.

Okay, now that was weird...

We cut and pasted exactly the same words...

I may have to stop using Smiley's Ambien and Foster's cocktail before going to bed...

It is her question to answer. She is frightened or at least unsure of what she has done and you SP are loking for every crumb she throws out to you.

She left you - it is up to her to come back and if and when she does, she will be very loud and clear about it. None of these hints and innuendos.

Use the 48 hour rule SP. You will respond better. Write the response by all means , just dont address it. Wait.

Not sure why all the communication needed anyway. Unless it is important to kids, let it wait. Go dark SP. Now is a good time , if she is uncertain. Let your silence fill her thoughts.
