Well, I guess it is fair that he knows he has a time limit now. Have you raised the bar too high to ever love him again?

I still believe he has the "powers" to do it Kerry. It will be slow and painful but it can happen. Just like a child birth. If I didnt believe that (even as a slim chance), I would be stupid, no?

What happens if he doesn't step up? You are so stressed with your dad's sitch... I'm just concerned this might not be a good time (for you) to have to deal with more bad news. I understand you are at the end of your rope, though.

Kalni, I believe these men do have it in them, that is what makes it so frustrating!!! I hope your H listens and really gets it this time. I understand how you are feeling...hugs and coffee! Or at this hour, cocktail?

I think the real question is what is "stepping up" for K? If you can put a deadline, can you put a minimum requirement?
Just wondering what it would take to postpone the deadline? Hmm...that did not come out right did it?

Yes, for example if he quit the extra job and got that shorter-commitment one with higher status...and if he asked to move back home and spend time alone with you...what does 'stepping up' look like?? I am sure you already know and I guess that is what is important, that YOU know what you are looking for.

Jack and coke? Martini?
