I just caught the date...yes, sad, but you have been doing SO well!! Look at all that you've accomplished in the mean-time! If you start to look now, how bad is his credit mess? I still have my x on my car loan (I'd have to refi to get him off), so if he doesn't pay his property taxes on time (and he doesn't), then it effects me. You'd think a year after D it wouldn't, but don't be surprised if there is still something lurking afterwards.
Bad enough that I wouldn't be able to afford anything that wasn't a complete fixer upper in a horrible neighborhood. I don't have a lot of wiggle room anyways, which is why I'm going to rent out a room to a friend.
After all, this is Cali. Even a 2/2 condo goes for 130k.

okay, so i get this random text a while ago asking if i could get the bistro set from my parents for STBXH since he misses it and has a place to put it now. I text him back going it's been at my place almost 2 years now and I would like some kitchen stuff and copies of the anime (thinking maybe a trade would work).
A week and some change goes by, Friday night he texts me (apparently he had nothing better to do. I was at the concert in the park with RB though and never replied) and said he had given all the cast iron and movies to goodwill to help atone for his sins when he was homeless.
Then today, I get the IOU for our state tax refund. It's only $26.19. I'm like, WTF. So I look at the enclosed letter and see they garnished my state tax refund to pay money he owed the college. I'm a bit pissed....So I just sent him a text going XXX took 312.81 of the tax refund. I would have appreciated knowing about that from you beforehand. You can use the money aren't paying them to buy whatever you want, including a new bistro set.
Yeah.
