I would imagine it is b/c I am leading and did not say what I said in a mean or negative tone. And that I am sticking up for something.

Just said what I said as a statement not out of anger, but more from this is not a good thing for the kids to see.

Oh, and I am glad she now knows I know about that book - don't know if that matters to her, but it's not my concern/problem.
