I kind of want to hit you over the head with a 2x4, although I think you already know all the things you said wrong. You said way too many words when talking to her about your friend. You had her eating out of your hand and could have been very mysterous......but you talked too much.

I had thought about taking the mysterious route and letting her imagination run wild, but I have noticed since my comment a few weeks ago (in response to her saying how she didn't know how I would treat her once I found a new girlfriend in a couple weeks) that she has kept bringing it up about me finding a new girlfriend. I had originally thought it was because she found a new guy, but don't see that is the case from how she has been behaving.

I believe she really thinks that I've had girlfriends in the past and that I will just go find another girl so she can use that as justification for leaving. She had asked if there was someone else and her mom had accussed me as well. There hasn't.

So that's what I was worried about that she would use that as justification of leaving and moving on.

I don't think it has diluted any concern on her end that I am very capable of finding someone else (quickly - I wish I was as confident/sure).

So I appreciate you holding off on your 2x4 as I have enough knots on my head already (matches my 3 year old's mild concussion bump). This weekend is going to be a real tough one.
