Oh, sweetie! I am so sorry to hear about your dad's Dx. Right now, that is where you need to put your focus. He, your mom, the kids, and your other family. Now is the time for your H to step up to the plate and be the husband, father and most of all MAN that God intended for him to be. I truly do believe it is in him, but sadly I think it is buried under a ton of stuff he is not willing to face. While I hate to think of the struggles facing your family in the days ahead, I am praying that your H will step up to the plate.
Blessed Father, we adore You. To You we give all glory and praise, knowing that you are a good God whose ears are attentive to the cries of your children. Lord I ask You to turn your eyes to this family as they face this new round of struggles. Father, only You know Your plans and purpose in this situation, only You know the outcome. Father if it is Your will, I ask you to bring healing to Maria's dad. Let his doctors be amazed by the miraculous power of Your saving grace. But father, if this is not Your will, I would ask that You be compassionate to your child and keep his days ahead as pain free as possible. Let this family feel the comfort of your presence in this an hour of very real need. We seek Your face Father, knowing that all prayers and petitions reach You through the saving grace of Your precious son, Jesus. In his name we now pray, Amen.
