Hey -- know what burns me up?

WAW.

SIL lives in Foreign Country. SIL and I have never been close -- she doesn't really "do" close, as she puts it -- but we haven't been enemies. A mutual acquaintance who knows SIL and WAW and me, and who lives in Foreign Country near SIL, emails me today: Hey, Smiley's Person, what the effin' h*ll is wrong with you?? I thought I knew you, but I didn't know what a d*ck you were.

Well now. That's an eye-opener at 7 in the morning.

So I open up a fresh can of What-the-F*ck and send it to now-Former Mutual Acquaintance.

Well, well, well.

Dude, [SIL] told me about all the sh*t you're laying on [Mrs. SP]. Are you nuts? You demanded alimony for life? You did nothing while she worked, she supported you during the marriage and now she's supposed to support you for your entire life after?

Well, well, well. Now that sounds an awful lot like the exact things WAW said during the Batsh*t-Crazy-a-Thon. SIL would never have known about the "for life" concept had WAW not brought it up -- and why do I feel justified in mind-reading that WAW brought it up to her?

That phrase -- "lifetime support" -- was used by an attorney, not by me, and in fact I specifically told WAW during the Batsh*t-Crazy-a-Thon that I did not expect to be receiving alimony checks for literally "for life."

But it's her best card in the Sympathy Sweepstakes, you see.

So I ask Former Mutual Acquaintance, "Ummmm, when exactly did you have this convo with SIL?"

Yesterday, man, she was on the phone with her sister.

It's been at least 2 weeks -- more like a month -- since I told WAW this was not the case.

I'm not going to ask, "Why?" because there is no answer.

But it damn sure is going to figure in the What Next computations I'm running this weekend.
