Interestingly my H called today to tell me he got an offer from the European federation to be their PO for some games. Which means good money and 9 days of work involved thru the football period, max 10 (3 days each). It actually gives him no excuses to hold back on letting the one job go as well as opens a new career path for him. Not many journalists get this kind of offer from the federation. It's an honor and I was happy and proud for him and told him that. I also made a quick calculation of the money sitch and he would actually be short of very little money than what he makes today if he finally chooses to leave his job. He was amazed by the figures...
Funny thing is I told him 2 weeks ago that I could see something big happening in his career (and mentioned the actual federation-witch!!!) if he could have more time and work less (the 20/80 rule). And guess what? He is not sure he will take the offer!!!!
