The day the story aired H and I were watching the news together when the story came on. I sat there frozen, sickened by it all. I could feel H's eyes on me. Neither one of us said a word.
The next night while we were watching the news, the story came on again. This time H had the remote and switched the channel IMMEDIATELY.
I'm disgusted with the behaviour of so many of these politicians. I really admire the way Mrs. Sanford has handled everything. I feel so sorry for her and her boys, having to handle all this in the public eye.
