Cherrish asked me to post an update tonight and implored anyone with some advice to please post. He is at wits end and very angry.
As I mentioned before Cherrish went back to court and asked for a modification to what he's paying for child support and spousal maintainance based on unemployment and subsequent major reduction of income, almost 50% less. The judge (commissioner) carried it over until trial in November. He said there could be no change until a trial and then it could be hashed out.
Cherrish received something today that the judge (commissioner) signed garnishing his wages and demanding arrears to the toon of $18,000. This is a complete 180 from what he said in court.
It seems this happended with his EX's atty in court without Cherrish's atty present or even knowledgable about this.
Hard to believe....sorry, but it is. Something is not right with this fact scenario but I'm not saying Cher is lying...just "unusual" legal events, to say the least.
Cherrish is very angry to say the least and wants me to post the county and name of judge (commissioner) on here. He really wants to sue the courts and everyone involved in this. He asks me to post and ask anyone for advice and knowledge of anybody or organization that can help him.
I gave my advice already and have nothing else to offer. He HAS A L and can call the "Father's" Lawyers if he wants. What else is there to do? If his L has offered proof of the reduction in wages, then maybe he needs to consider bankruptcy but I'm not a Bknrpcy L....what does HIS L SAY? Why are you posting here and not him?

See above. I think there are facts here that are not being put out. Either the L sucks, or Cher is leaving something out, or the system in uniquely conspiring against him...what can I say? What is his L doing and saying about this?

Well that's the crux of this, isn't it? Otherwise you are asking a doctor here to diagnose and prescribe without the lab results ALL while saying that the treating doctor owes him a 'call'....so, yeah, HIS L needs to do some talking. What is he paying him for and how did Cher hire that one?
