The bible study is a really nice new experience. We link up on the phone each night at 6. Although it was supposed to be a brand new group of 3-4 of us + the moderator for the first couple of meeting until we got enough "momentum". The other 2 or so people have kinda flaked in the early going as it has just been me and the mod. She is a neat woman of British Guyanian descent. I am hoping that the studying and sharing of perspectives might actually pick up when some others choose to show up. It is three quarters of the hour prayer intensive and only one quarter reading of the word. Not entirely as I expected but I am riding along with it. Certainly prayer is terrific.
There has been a little bit of rehab on the me and my darling front, but for sure some lingering sting from her volatility and unpredictability is still present with me. My level of comfort and confidence with the R is distant from what I would like it to be.
There are bright spots though. Most notably that she very often likes for me to read the Word when we are together. What an elixir it is for all that ails
