Jeff:

Wow! A Golf Trip! I should have come, too! I'm just getting back into golf, and it's ugly, with a lot of swearing in the back swing still! I can't tee off to save my life anymore. My short game is ok, and putting is acceptable... But, that TEEING OFF! OY! I might as well just throw it!

Maybe a cute golf pro could help (in a lot of ways!)? LOL JK

Well, I didn't have a cute instructor, but the subject of this article article was teaching on the tee next to me for a while! smile

If you did it once, you will be able to do it again! But I'm not going to try to give advice here!

I'm sore, lots of balls today, and more tomorrow!

Glad you`re having a great vac, Jeff. I`m afraid I don`t get any of the golf stuff though my DS14 totally does and would kill for a break like yours.

Enjoy!

Yay for practically one to one tuition. That's a brilliant result.

And super-yay for going on a hot date and occupying her thoughts the next day. That is sooooo cool! And totally to be expected- I'd have been shocked if she hadn't been taken with you!

I am having a great trip! Well, except for last night when I mashed the fender of the rental car in the parking lot! No damage to the truck I backed into, though. The parking lot wasn't parallel, and he wasn't centered in his spot.... I saw enough of the spot that I thought it was empty, and farther away than it was. OK, just excuses, I messed up! I hope the rental company doesn't hate me too much when I tell them!

((((((Lisa))))))
It turned out to be one-on-one! I don't know what happened to the other guy! So I got about 9 or so hours of total one-on-one as opposed to 18 hours of one-on-four that it was supposed to be. The only thing I didn't do was hit as many balls as I might have. But it might be better to let it sink in a bit, too. I can go back there and hit balls tomorrow, but I have other plans! I am thinking of hitting a range this afternoon, but there's a big storm cloud out there now.... I must consider!

The date is looking forward to seeing me Sunday! We are going to rent the first Harry Potter movie and BBQ. She hasn't seen any of them! (Which is a little worrisome! I guess she thought they were for kids!) The previews of the next one are pretty impressive!

And I have been emailing, and as of last night have talked to another very interesting sounding woman. It's a strange feeling. I was really used to being "wrong" all the time. The farther down the road I get, the more I see that it really wasn't me. But you all know how hard that is to believe!

Yeah. The only place to make excuses is out on the golf course.

There was a bug on my ball.
I need new grips.
It was in between clubs.
That gust of wind knocked it off line.
The ball was in a divot.
The sun was in my eyes.
If only that tree hadn’t been there.

Hey Jeffers! Everything is sounding wonderful your way...except the fender of course.

I need about 99 hours of 1-1 instruction if I am ever going to be a passable golfer! Honestly I barely stayed under 100 on my outing last week, and that was only 9 holes! Course it had been 2 years since I golfed, and I was using my brand new clubs for the first time... whistle

I have never seen an entire Harry Potter from beginning to end, either. Just bits and pieces on ABC Family channel from time to time. My 6 yr old is not quite ready for them, he says! Are you planning to watch them in order before you go to the new one?

Glad you are still chatting up some ladies. The hot date sounds fabulous, but since you are just sticking your toe in the water it is great that you are still exploring. And realizing that they see a great guy when they think of you. Just like all of us ladies here do. smile

I think your six year old is probably right! The movies are a little intense. And they increase in intensity as Harry gets older. Since she hasn't seen any of them, I think it would be good to see them all before the new one!

The lady I talked to last night called tonight, she couldn't talk long, since she is leaving for a long weekend trip in the morning, but I thought it was really nice of her to call! I still have a hard time getting my head around it!

My son read the 1st Harry Potter book a couple months ago and I rented the 1st movie for him recently. He was so excited watching the movie and telling me about all the differences from the book. He is reading the 2nd book on his trip to Thailand and I will have the 2nd movie ready for him when he returns. Maybe this will help divert his attention some from his Pokemon infatuation
