That is a good approach - I will bring this angle up. I am really at the point I don't care anymore. The disrespect and ridiculous behavior has got me to the point where it is pretty clear the person I married is gone and I am not interested in being married to the person that is hear now, and I don't think there is any going back.

Last night WAW came home stressed. Lay offs at work, not her but friends. I got her to talk, and I listened. It was good. Made a joke - we disagreed on something (goodnaturedly) and I said "I bet you our marriage" and she said ok. I was right; she said "I guess you win!" I said I didn't know what that meant but I would follow up on it with her later!

It has been weeks since any sep talk has happened. I'm just going with the flow. This weekend worries me; it is our anniversary. I want to just give he a card with something simple and appropriate written. Thoughts?

Ah, yes; the fellas and I are wrestling with this very conundrum.

The problem is they don't make "To The Spouse Who's Dumping Me" anniversary cards.

Safe bet -- plain card, handwritten sentiment to the effect of "regardless of our current struggles, I didn't think the day should go by without being recognized -- after all, a lot of good has come from this day, like Kid Name 1, Kid Name 2, etc. And no matter what the future holds, I'll always be grateful for that."
