Things are good other than trying to get full-time work.

Was it a bit of a shock that that happened? I think I'd have found it funny if I'd forgotten my H's b'day, and then felt bad almost immediately afterwards. Good wife syndrome!

Yeah, that's some detachment lol. I did feel a little bit bad. Thought about sending him a text or e-mail. Had to talk myself out of it.
I'm not doing criminal or family law. So...that leaves "civil" law!
I think I'm getting back on orders from July 15th through the January or so. That'll give me a chance to do job hunting with a cushion.
And...I'm house-hunting! RB has a friend who is a realtor and he called her. It's SO strange to be really talking about it, but it's exciting too! I'd rather have the mortgage than watch my rent disappear every month and if I rent out a room my expenses won't be much more!
